For the past two years a team has gone down three games to one in the finals. Last year, Edmonton was able to force Carolina to a game 7.
In hockey the populat theroyof a series winner is "the hot goalie". In the statistical analysis done for this game I overweighted a goalies attribute by 10 percent. This number is simply abritrary as I have limited access to NHL statsitics. Next year, I hope to determine an accurate figure based upon past performance.
Based on my analysis: Ducks win 3-2.
